Areas of Practice for Occupation Therapy
Gerontology
We work directly with the elderly. We provide help with day to day activities, such as meal preparation, bathing, grooming, transportation, and even counseling. We specialize in emotional or mental disorders. Life Rehab offers counseling or therapy for depression, anxiety, and grief. We also get them doing activities they love and enjoy.
Physical Rehabilitation (BCPR)
We aim to enhance and restore functional ability and quality of life to those with physical impairments or disabilities affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons.
Pediatrics (BCP)
We work with children. in helping them develop, improve or regain daily life skills and motor functions. Life Rehab develops the skills they need to grow into functional, independent adults. Physical impairment, injuries and a host of other issues can hamper a child's ability to perform common tasks or progress normally through the stages of social or cognitive development.
